Start with a short fact sheet

Write down the product name, material, colour, size range, dimensions and what is included in the pack. Add care instructions or compatibility only when you can confirm them. If a detail is missing, leave it open instead of filling the gap with a guess.

Imagine a blue cotton kurta available in sizes S to XL. Those details are enough for a clear opening. They do not establish fabric purity, a special fit or how the colour holds after washing.

Write for a person first

Use a plain product name that helps a buyer recognise the item. Follow with short points about the details that help them decide: material, size options, what they receive and any confirmed use or care information.

Search terms are useful when they describe the actual product. Repeating the same phrase or adding unrelated terms makes the listing harder to read and can mislead a customer.

Review before you publish

Compare every sentence with the product and its packaging. Check marketplace fields and current category rules in Seller Central, especially where a category asks for structured attributes. Read the copy on a phone: if the main facts are buried, simplify it.

A drafting tool can speed up the first version. The seller still owns the final check. That small review protects the trust a good listing is meant to build.
