Choose the identifying details first

Write a working order: confirmed brand, product type, material or model, size or capacity, colour and pack count. This is a drafting aid, not a universal Amazon format. Omit irrelevant attributes and do not insert a brand you cannot use. Buyers should recognise the product without decoding a chain of synonyms.

A title rewrite with a clear reason

Illustrative original: “Amazing best premium bag stylish bag shopping bag.” Clearer draft: “Cotton Tote Bag, Blue, 35 × 40 cm, Pack of 1.” The revision replaces repetition and unsupported quality language with identifying facts. It is an example to adapt, not a pre-approved title or a claim about your own inventory.

What belongs outside the title?

Put supporting use and care information into the appropriate listing fields. Keep the title focused on identity rather than a complete sales pitch. Review price, offer and seller-policy wording against the platform’s rules instead of treating the title as a place for every message. Confirm the selected variant matches its image and attributes.

Check the current requirements

Amazon’s listing guide explains the role of product information and titles. Exact title limits and permitted wording can change by category and over time; inspect the current Seller Central guidance for your item. After editing, check both the submission status and the live product page. Sending an update does not establish that it is live.

Common questions

Should I repeat the main keyword?

Use a relevant product phrase naturally. Repeating it makes the title harder to scan and does not guarantee ranking.
